Riding his bike...

Jaxson loves riding his bike...one problem... it's too small. We got him a brand new bike for this past Christmas, but he is determined to continue to use the old bike that is way too small. So, we have been working on actually using the pedals. So this video shows the first time that he actually used them! Go Jaxson!! Hopefully we will get there soon!

Maddox Crawled on 8 month Bday!

It was so exciting to see Maddox crawling...I mean really crawling this weekend! He had been doing a lot of "army" crawling or snake motions to get from here to there, but he put it all together this weekend. It is so amazing to see how children learn so quickly. He doesn't want to be held anymore...well at least most of the time. He loves chasing after Jaxson and Jaxson loves that he follows him around.

Jaxson walked at 9 months, so I am sure Maddox will be doing that soon too, but we are not pushing that one!!

What a Weekend!

We had such a great weekend as a family.  From Jaxson building a castle with is toys, cleaning Daddy's golf balls, playing designer with the paint swatches to watching Maddox starting to really get around (semi-crawling).

 It just felt so good to have this positive time with my family.  Charles is such an amazing father, I just love watching him with both boys.  Another thing that is my favorite is seeing Jaxson and Maddox interact with each other.  I can't wait to see how their relationship grows, but Jaxson is already the "protector."  This doesn't mean of course that Jaxson hasn't already shown some jealously or hasn't thrown a toy his way, but it is an amazing thing to see their love for each other already.  Maddox loves to watch Jaxson playing.  I know he can't wait to be able to keep up with him! 

We are gearing up for another weekend.  Hopefully lots of fun outside, swimming classes again and then maybe some grilling out!  Until next time....

Ear Infections

I can't tell you how frustrated I am with EAR INFECTIONS!  Maddox was so irritable this morning, so once I realized he felt warm and was pulling on his ears....to the doctors we went!  I think I might now be an ear infection expert! So this picture is from the doctors office, while we were waiting to see our favorite doctor, Dr. Ella Eng Tow.  She said he is also getting ready to get his top teeth in!  So far he has two teeth on the bottom. 

BROTHERS!

There is no denying that Jaxson and Maddox are brothers.  Their baby pictures are amazingly similar, but yet they still have their own physical differences.  I just can't wait to see how close they grow over the years.  Yes, I know they will have their moments, but there is just something about "brothers." I am so blessed to have two handsome children, who love life, and I can't wait to see them grow and develop into strong "Men" of great character and who care for eachother unlike another!

Maddox is HILARIOUS!

Maddox seems to be one the most smiliest babies I have ever seen.  Jaxson was so much more serious, not that he didn't smile, but it seems to come so early for Maddox.  This pictures is a perfect example of how adorable his smile really is!  I love my Maddie!

Starting Fresh

So it seems as if life has finally started to settled down, so now that I say that, I am sure it will pop right back up!  Maddox is almost 8 months, Jaxson is now 2 1/2.  It seems amazing to me how time flies.  I will soon be 30.  It's crazy, it seems as if it was just yesterday I was at the bus stop when I was 12 and couldn't wait to drive when I turned 16.  That was half my life ago....  WOW!!


So I know I am a little behind with "blogging," but I feel it is never too late to start.  I have not been a great mom with keeping up with noting every change in my children.  I guess I keep those small everyday items in my mind and heart.  But as my mind fills up, I hope to not erase those that are older with newer thoughts, so what better way to keep track then with blogging.  It's got to be easy....so hear I go!  Bare with me!!:)
